Refund Policy

Scope

This Refund Policy is part of the Terms of Service for ExactMusic at getexactmusic.com, operated by Core Matrix, LLC.

It covers one-time credit packs bought on ExactMusic and paid by card through Stripe. It does not cover guest previews or credits we grant without a purchase.

14 days for unused credits

You may request a refund within 14 days after the purchase date.

• If none of the credits from that purchase have been used, we refund the amount you paid for that pack.
• If you used some credits from that purchase and others remain, we refund only the unused portion. The refund is the price you paid, multiplied by the share of credits from that purchase that are still unused.
• Credits that have already been consumed are not refunded.

The 14 days run from the purchase, not from the last time you signed in.

No refund after generation

Credits are consumed when a track is successfully generated. After that, those credits are not refundable, whether or not you download the file, use it in a project, or delete it.

A generation that fails does not keep the credits. Credits taken for a failed attempt are returned to your balance. That restore is not a card refund. If a failed attempt still shows as spent, email support@getexactmusic.com and we will correct the balance.

Not refundable

• Credits already consumed by a successful generation.
• Requests made more than 14 days after purchase.
• Guest previews and other free use of the site.
• Complimentary credits, including a signup grant. They are not a purchase.
• Credits you ask us to move to another person. Credits are not transferable.

How to ask

Email support@getexactmusic.com from the email on your account. Include the date of the charge and, if you have it, the Stripe receipt or the last four digits of the card. We use that only to find the order.

We will confirm whether the credits from that purchase are unused, or how many remain unused, and whether the request is inside 14 days.

How the money is returned

Approved refunds are sent by Stripe to the original card or payment method. We do not send cash, checks, or store credit in place of the Stripe refund. The time the refund appears on your statement depends on your card issuer. It is often several business days after Stripe accepts the refund, and it can take longer.

If you were charged tax, the tax on the refunded portion is refunded as well, as Stripe and the tax rules require.
