Who we are

ExactMusic is an exact-duration AI music service at getexactmusic.com. It is operated by Core Matrix, LLC ("we", "us").

ExactMusic generates instrumental background music for voiceover, ads, and short video. You choose a duration and describe the cue. The service is built for instrumental output, not sung vocals or lyric performances.

This policy explains what we collect when you use the website, create an account, buy credit packs, or generate audio, and how we use that information.

Information we collect

• Account details. If you register, we collect the name, email address, and authentication data needed to create your account. You can sign in with email. Google sign-in is optional. If you use it, Google shares the profile details needed to sign you in, such as your name, email address, and profile image.
• Prompts and audio. We collect the text prompts you submit, the duration you request, and the instrumental audio files we generate so you can play and download them.
• Credits and orders. We keep your credit balance, a record of credits added or consumed, and purchase records for credit packs.
• Payment details. Credit packs are paid through Stripe. Stripe collects card and billing details. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We keep the order amount, status, and the identifiers needed to add credits and handle a refund.
• Technical data. We process basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and device type, plus cookies or similar storage used to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as language, and limit abuse of guest previews.
• Support messages. If you email support@getexactmusic.com, we keep the message and our reply so we can help you.

Do not put passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive secrets in a music prompt.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• Run ExactMusic: sign-in, credit balances, generation, playback, and download.
• Send your prompt and generation settings to AI providers so they can return instrumental audio.
• Charge credit packs through Stripe and apply the credits to your account.
• Send service messages about your account, purchases, security, and support requests.
• Detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized use of accounts or credits.
• Keep the site secure and understand whether the product is working.

We do not sell your personal information.

AI providers

Generation is done by third-party AI providers. We send your prompt and related settings, such as the requested length, to those providers so they can return audio. Providers we use include OpenRouter and models such as Google Lyria. We may use a similar provider when one of these is unavailable.

Those providers process the prompt to produce the file. Their own terms describe how long they keep that data. We send prompts to generate the track you asked for. We do not sell prompts.

Payments, hosting, and other processors

We share information with companies that process it for us:

• Stripe processes credit-pack payments and card refunds.
• Google processes optional Google sign-in.
• AI providers, including OpenRouter and Google Lyria, process prompts to generate audio.
• Hosting and storage providers run getexactmusic.com and store generated audio files so we can serve them back to you.
• Email providers deliver account or support email when that delivery is enabled.

We do not control Stripe, Google, or an AI provider as if it were our own service. Their processing is limited to the job we ask them to do, under their terms and ours.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage that are needed to run the site: session cookies for sign-in, a preference such as language, and a browser flag that remembers whether a guest preview was used.

If analytics is turned on for the site, a measurement tool may set its own cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may sign you out or break generation.

When we share information

We share personal information only:

• With the processors listed above.
• If the law, a court, or a government request requires it.
• To protect Core Matrix, LLC, our users, or the public from fraud, abuse, or a security incident.
• If the business is sold or reorganized, in which case this policy still describes how the information is used, or we will tell you about a material change.

How long we keep it

We keep account, order, and credit records while your account is open and for as long as we need them for accounting, taxes, fraud prevention, and legal claims. We keep prompts and generated audio so you can play and download tracks and so we can operate and secure the service.

You may ask us to delete your account information. We will delete or anonymize it unless we need to keep a record, for example a completed payment.

Your choices

• You can use email sign-in and skip Google.
• You can update account details in your account settings.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@getexactmusic.com.
• You can control cookies in your browser.

If a privacy law where you live gives you extra rights, such as a copy of your information or an objection to certain processing, email us and we will honor what that law requires.

Children

ExactMusic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child gave us personal information, email support@getexactmusic.com and we will delete it.

Where information is processed

We and our processors may store and process information in the United States and in other countries where the hosting, payment, and AI providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws than your own.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date on this page when we do. If a change is material, we will also post a notice on the site or email the address on your account when that is practical.
